Marvin Riley

Marvin Riley is the President and CEO of EnPro Industries Inc. and has held the position since July 2019, after previously serving as Chief Operating Officer since July 2017. Mr. Riley served in various leadership positions including President of the company’s Fairbanks Morse division; Vice President of the company’s manufacturing function; and Vice President of Global Operations for its GGB Bearing Technology division. Prior to joining EnPro, Mr. Riley was an executive with General Motors Corporation, working within the General Motors Vehicle Manufacturing Group where he held multiple positions of increasing responsibility from 1997 to 2007.

Mr. Riley completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at the Harvard Business School., received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Howard University. Mr. Riley has served as on the Board of Directors of TimkenSteel Corporation since August 2018.

Mr. Riley currently serves as a board member with Beloit 2020, Books@Work and Minds Incorporated and Timken Steel. Beloit 2020 is a nonprofit development corporation devoted to renewing the historic core of Beloit, Wisconsin. Books@Work brings professor-led literature seminars to workplaces and community settings to build confidence, critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. Minds Incorporated is dedicated to making DC area schools a more conscious and compassionate learning environment by teaching mindfulness-based practices to students, educators, and parents. Timken Steel creates tailored steel products and services for demanding applications, helping customers push the bounds of what's possible within their industries.
