Shayne Hughes is the President, Culture Change Partner, and Senior Facilitator at Learning as Leadership. Shayne is an expert at creating cultures of open communication and collaboration that lead to substantial improvements in organizational and personal performance. His clients include Fairchild Semiconductor, NASA, Sandia National Laboratories, Shell Oil, and Encore Capital. Shayne was instrumental in the creation of We Lead and Learning as Leadership’s culture change framework.
Shayne is the co-author of Ego Free Leadership, which he wrote with Brandon Black, the former CEO of Encore Capital. The book shares the insights and possibilities of Learning as Leadership’s tools through the real-life experience of a public company executive team. Shayne has also published numerous articles in publications such as Harvard’s Du Bois Review, Diversity Executive Magazine, Forbes.com and the Huffington Post.
He earned his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and completed graduate studies in group facilitation at the University of Tours in France.
